I cultivate experiences through photography, reflection, and conversation that help people discover deeper meaning in the moments, memories, and relationships that shape their lives.
For more than 35 years, photography has been my profession, my creative practice, and one of the ways I make sense of the world. It has taken me through portraiture and fine art, family photographs and history, restoration and preservation, contemplative practices, teaching, writing, and more than a few unexpected rabbit holes.
I’ve come to understand that these aren’t separate pursuits. They’re explorations of the same thing: the power of photography to help us see, remember, connect, and experience life more deeply.
Some of my explorations become bodies of photographic work. Some become workshops or experiences. Others become essays, conversations, or services I can offer you. And sometimes I simply follow my curiosity to see where it leads.

I had two large group photographs at a print shop to be copied for our church. Well, the print shop was flooded leaving the photographs damaged and stained. I contacted Cheryl about restoring them. The restoration was exceptional!

I’m Cheryl Kaiser—a photographer, lifelong learner, curious explorer, and occasional excavator of things nobody else thought to look at.
Photography has been my way of experiencing the world since I picked up a camera at eleven. More than five decades later, I’m still following whatever catches my eye, raises a question, reveals a story, or makes me want to look closer.
